Bob Liddle a solo performer available for all types of functions, from pubs and clubs, to dinner-dances and weddings. 

 

He plays midi-accordion linked to a Ketron Audya Music Expander which allows him to sound like a full band and play a full range of music to suit all tastes.

 

He also plays Gretsch electric guitar with backing tracks and vocals and can play Ceilidh, Country, Big Band, Pop, Rock n' Roll, and everything in between.

 

In addition to all the popular ceilidh dances, Bob also covers music by the Beatles, Eagles, Proclaimers, Tina Turner, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams, Status Quo, Sinatra, Take That, Lonestar, Neil Diamond, Paolo Nutini, Elvis and many more.

His usual live set-up is midi accordion and electric guitar, inter-changing between each as the audience demands. He can also do a piping spot with orchestral and rock backing tracks, playing popular tunes like Highland Cathedral, Skye Boat Song, Scotland the Brave etc, which go down particularly well at Scots nights etc.

 

Flexibility is his speciality, he can do a whole night of Scottish/Irish and Ceilidh if you want, or a night of mostly Pop, Rock and Country, with a bit of Ceilidh thrown in.​
